This uniquely personal yet universal autobiography in progress should be required reading for every girl out there. Maybe instead of impressing upon our daughters the values from the Frog Prince, which just teaches young girls to inanely go about kissing toads and hoping for the best, we can teach them Keltie’s divine philosophy of high kicks + high hopes (co-best blog ever! w/ idance.iwrite) and show them that when we are honest with ourselves and seek to move onwards & upwards from our stumbles we can find it within us to love ourselves and get out of our own way. You don’t have to be a former rockette or have had your heart broken by one of your rockstar exes, or even be a girl to benefit from this read; you just have to be human.
