  1. The playlists are rocking me. Where do you find your music?

    • Where don’t i find my music?? Mostly joking, here’s the real answer…

Mainly I find it live at clubs when
      A) I didn’t have a planned show but wanted to go out, preferably somewhere with (probably good) live music and hit a place like Molly Malones or Spaceland that consistently has music WIN, pre-fame;or
      B) i get to a planned show earlier than i expect to and the openers rock me.

Secondary source, though its moving into Tertiary is blogs, specifically trusted music blogs… check my blogroll/links – All I Hear Is Noise is my fave.

Tertiary source, though its climbing into second position is via friends. Not a friend trying to sell me mind you, but maybe a comment or remark i overhear by one of a handful of people who regularly impress me with their sound proclivities and the rare direct referral by one of theses peeps (“Ses u MUST check out XXXX”)… it should be obvious why this is in last place. Most people don’t get anywhere close to that status with me ‘cuz i am too busy being super impressed by my own sound affinities, and if they do, since they don’t work for whatever group they heard that they dig, unless the group replaces their fave (hasn’t happened ever yet) they dont go out of their way to tell the whole world at every second…. its probably my fave method of discovery cause its always (so far) all hit, no miss. It is happening more and more often in the last year thanks in huge part to ping on itunes – yes i follow those people on ping and its paid off a trillionfold. If ping would just catch on quicker, we’d all be more stoked with the noise we get. i’m hoping the apple twitter bedding together thing lights some fires. 🙂

great query! Thx for the comment!
